Camel Riding

Mitzpe Ramon, one of the most popular tourist sites in Israel, offers a wide variety of attractions, including the unique attraction of riding camels. Riding camels is an authentic desert experience that allows travelers to enjoy the breathtaking view of Mitzpe Ramon and the desert, while riding a camel.

The trip itself gives travelers a glimpse into the desert world, where they get to get to know the desert, the camels and the history of the area up close.

We at ‘Desert Time’ invite you to a camel ride in the Mitzpe Ramon area in front of a breathtaking view of the Ramon Crater and the desert. Our trips are carried out in groups of up to 20 participants and their length ranges from half an hour to an hour up to a 4-hour trip for those who wish to go. Of course, all trips are accompanied by a qualified guide who accompanies the travelers throughout the trip.

To enrich the trip and the experience, it is possible, by prior arrangement, to come to a rich Bedouin meal cooked in a “Zarb” (a pit desert oven in the ground with coals) and enjoy a meat meal, with meat cooked in the ground for about three hours and served alongside fresh salads.
